Also, DisplayPort offers long cable lengths (up to 15 meters) if the video source is compatible with DisplayPort. However, you must remember that bigger the cable length, lesser the video resolution.

Can You Convert These Cables into Another?

Yes, it is possible to convert some of them. For example, you can convert HDMI and DVI with the help of a simple adapter. Some DisplayPort connections might also work with DVI and HDMI if there is an adapter. But there are exceptions to it.
